Abercrombie & Fitch + a lesson in economics (not too boring)

The other day I was browsing the web in hopes of finding an Abercrombie and Fitch store online where I could purchase items at a discount to the really inflated prices that are offered on the official Abercrombie & Fitch website.  Where I live Abercrombie is all the rage and I really like the style of the jeans, hoodies, and jackets that they come out with, but…I dont always enjoy the price tag.  A friend of mine told me he was able to find really cheap Abercrombie and Fitch products on eBay and other places online.  However, I have never much been the ebay auction type.  I find there are way too many scams on eBay and sellers dont like to disclose all the details in their sale.  After doing some research I did find there were plenty of cheap Abercrombie items on eBay and the reason for this was largely due to stores going out of business and also due a little economic phenomena called arbitrage.  It seems that in many countries the prices of Abercrombie clothing varies so if you purchase the clothing in one country and sell it in bulk to another the price can be very different.  For example, the jacket I really wanted is called Abercrombie & Fitch Mount Washington Jacket, the official site in the USA asks 348 USD for this jacket, however, in Canada the price is 438 CAD, by the way, Canadian Dollars (CAD) are worth more than USD.  This is just one of many examples, in this case Canadians would save over 100$ if they bought the jacket in the United States.

I continued to browse online and did find some significantly cheaper shops such as the following - Abercrombie & Fitch
I  have come to realize that with huge companies operating worldwide like A&F if you can get the product from a cheaper country you might as well and save yourself a lot of money and look just as stylish in doing so.
